New Senate Lifetime Index Data Released

Washington, DC - The Lugar Center and McCourt School's Bipartisan Index released updated lifetime scores for all U.S. Senators dating back to 1993. The updated scores, published June 11, reflect data from 1993 to the 2018. Read the press release here, and see the updated scores here.

"National Unity is a Foreign Policy Virtue"

Hoosier Senators Score High on Bipartisanship

Munster, IN - Of the five Indiana Senators to serve in the last 25 years, four have been among the most bipartisan legislators in Washington according to the Bipartisan Index, writes Dan Carden for the Northwest Indiana Times on June 17. READ HERE.

Dr. Connie Veillette, 1960-2019

A founding member of The Lugar Center, Dr. Connie Veillette, PhD, passed away on April 10 after a heroic, 4-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Much admired by her colleagues at TLC and beyond for her sharp wit and intellect, Connie's research specialized in foreign aid effectiveness and global food security. READ HERE.
