Indianapolis Celebrates Dedication of Richard G. Lugar Plaza

Indianapolis, IN - Indianapolis' new central square was christened the Richard G. Lugar Plaza at a ceremony on October 11. Current Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett was joined by Fmr. Sen. and Fmr. Mayor Lugar, city officials, and guests for the dedication of the plaza, which includes green space, fountains, and art pieces. READ HERE or WATCH VIDEO.

IU School of Global and International Studies Named for Lugar and Hamilton

Bloomington, IN - On October 3, Indiana University Bloomington announced the renaming of the School of Global and International Studies to The Hamilton Lugar School, after Indiana statesmen Fmr. Sen. Richard Lugar and Fmr. Rep. Lee Hamilton. Founding dean of SGIS and former Ambassador Lee Feinstein said in a press release, "There are not two better respected foreign policy voices in the country."  READ HERE.
